Tour Day By day Itinerary
- Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
After breakfast you will depart towards the Rift Valley, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu, in the cooler regions of the crater highlands. You will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop for a short look into the crater from a viewing point. Continuing your journey around the crater, you will descend the other side, enjoying your free “African massage” on the bumpy road, passing Maasai villages on your way to the Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate you can walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views across the plains of the Serengeti savannah. You will then continue towards the Seronera Area in the central part of the Serengeti. The park offers a multitude of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Late in the afternoon you will arrive at the Tukaone Tented Camp.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Following breakfast, you will spend the whole day on a game drive in the Serengeti National Park and have lunch at a picnic spot en-route. Depending upon the time of year, you might even have the chance to witness the great migration with hundred thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thompson gazelles. During the small rainy season in October and November, you will typically see these herds moving from the Kenyan Masai Mara through the northwest of the Serengeti to the plains in the south. After the great rainy season in April, May and June, the herds slowly travel back through the western and north-western part of the Serengeti. With fluctuations in rainfall, this timetable can of course change, resulting in the animals migrating during different times and routes. Your guide will try his outmost to find the animals and will make sure that you can see them from the best spot in the national park. Naturally, the migration also attracts predators and with luck you might see a kill in action. You will spend another night at the Tukaone Tented Camp.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast at daybreak, you will start early on your outward journey from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, leaving behind the beautiful Seronera Valley. As predators are livelier in the cooler hours of the day, you might even see them in action. Lunch will be taken en route at a designated picnic spot. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 19 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide variety of birds, hyenas, and the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Exiting the crater on a different ascent road, you will drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands, where you will spend the night at Eileen's Trees Inn.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch; Dinner
After a relaxing breakfast, you will return to Arusha, arriving around noon. Those who wish to combine this safari with a trip to Zanzibar can take a flight from the local Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Lunch will be taken en route.

We truly believe that you can have a fantastic Tanzania safari at any time of year! Many of our guests book with us throughout the "long rains" of April and May, as well as the "short rains" of November. We make every effort to provide them with the greatest possible experience, even during the rainy season. The brief wet seasons are ideal for arranging a Tanzania Safari for bird watchers. The migratory birds can be seen during a rainstorm. However, the dry season is the best time to visit Tanzania.
Tanzania is a prime safari destination, boasting abundant wildlife and diverse landscapes. Popular attractions include:
Northern Circuit: Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
Southern Circuit: Nyerere National Park and Ruaha National Park
Western Circuit: Katavi National Park
Additionally, Tanzania is home to Africa's tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, which is primarily accessed from Tanzania despite being near the Kenya border.
The cost of a Tanzania Safari is influenced by various factors like activities chosen, accommodation type, trip duration, season, and group size. Consider budgeting starting from $500 per person daily as a general guide. Prices can also fluctuate based on the season: you might save during the rainy season but expect higher costs during prime wildebeest migration times. Camping safaris are often more affordable than luxury lodge safaris. Places like the Serengeti offer larger hotels that might be more budget-friendly.

The team was very nice, flexible and there for our needs and wishes. For example we decided to go up one day earlyer than planned and it was no problem even though decided quite spontaneously! We had quite a few changes like this in our plans and it was never a problem, the team adapted very well ("hakuna Matata"). So, the communication was very good and not complicated. When we had questions we could always ask our "manager" and he responded us very quickly. I felt safe and in good hands though we also had enough freedom to explore and do things by ourselves. Thanks for these beautiful holidays!VerifiedStefano P2023-11-09Four Parks in Six days We visited four National Parks and could see the Big Five thanks the professional skills of our guides. An amazing experience that I would recommend everyone! We highly recommend this organization for any excursion offered. With a high reliability and clear instructions we together checked our gear and did a briefing on how the 7 day trek would look like. After six intense but rewarding days, the team helped us achieve our long-time dream of climbing the Kilimanjaro. We were humbled by the kindness and professionalism of our 10-man crew. Our two guides made it their sole purpose to get us to the roof of Africa and summit with succes. Elisante organized everything for us, and even before the trip was always precise and fast in replying to our questions via messages. The tour included: the first day visiting Materuni waterfall and a coffee preparation experience accompanied by traditional songs and dances. The following day we went to hot spring and visiting a Masai Village. After this, we met out amazing guide Godlove and we started our 4 days safari. We visited Tarangire national park , Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater. It was without doubts, one of the best experiences of our lives. During the safari, we spent nights in campsites and we had a personal cook with us, Idd, who made the trip even better cooking traditional foods every day. We highly recommend travelling with Kisambi tour!VerifiedSusan K2023-09-14Amazing Waterfall and Coffee Roasting Experience Great, moderate hike to the stunning Materuni Falls. Along the way, our guide Godwin told us so much about the history of the area, and the local flowers, fruit, and birds. He was so knowledgeable! After seeing the waterfall, which was incredible, we hiked back to a local Chogga village and had a delicious lunch of banana soup, rice, beans and spiced vegetables. Then, we learned all about coffee cultivation and roasting, and had the most delicious cup of coffee. So much fun and so educational. It was a highlight of our trip to Tanzania,VerifiedKaterina K2023-09-09Best company to visit Moshi! Great company to visit Tanzania and go around Arousha and Moshi.
